A Digital Launch

 

Launching a product and brand is difficult enough. A rolling launch tailored for the sales force’s iPads in a nimble and dynamic fashion was a tall order.

Libbey’s most premium line of glassware was being introduced to the market and being done so in a periodic fashion. To reduce cost, instead of printing, we came up with the idea to create an interactive sales tool using pop-ups, carousels, animation, audio clips and embedded video. Utilizing InDesign, we gave the sales team a nimble ePub to use on their iPads as each pattern of the line became available. Updated versions were downloadable as soon as they became available via their website.

This robust interactive piece was the first of my experience using Adobe InDesign for its production. We were proud to win a Judge’s Choice Gold Addy Award to the true teamwork that took place on this piece.
